Observations
•We have observed that some commuters don't stand to the

left of escalators - this causes congestion, especially during peak hours.

•If someone blocks the way on the

right side of the escalator, most commuters are unwilling to ask the

person blocking the way to give way or move to the left of the escalator.

•We have observed commuters missing trains because they

don't have ease of passage on escalators.

•For the working or schooling crowd, missing a particular

train can be the difference between arriving early or late for work or lessons.
